• Competed at the 2023 NCAA DI South Region Cross Country Championships

As a Freshman (2023-24)
• Competed in and scored at five meets, including the NCAA South Region Championships
• 92nd overall (25:53.9) at the 8K SEC Championships
• 34th overall (25:13.0) at the 7.8K Mountain Dew Invitational
• First among Vanderbilt athletes and 18th overall (15:46.4) at the 5K Belmont Opener

The Bliven File
Brady Bliven prepped at West Salem and owns prep-best times of 8:54.5 in the three miles (XC) and 14:57.1 in the 5K (XC). In 2023 he was named a Nike Outdoor Nationals first-team All-American in the 2,000-meter steeplechase and as a member of the distance medley relay and earned all-state honors in three events. As a senior, Bliven was named the West Salem Male Track Athlete of the Year. He is a two-time conference champion in the 800 meters, earning all-conference honors in 2022. In 2022, Bliven also placed second at the district cross country championships and seventh at the state championships. Outside of athletics, he was president of  the Fellowship of Christian Student-Athletes Club, a MAPS credit union intern for one year and the manager of his high school’s student store.

Brady’s sister, Hannah, swam in college for Utah Tech (Dixie State).
