The Ford File
Patrick Ford prepped at Brewster High School where he holds school records in the 3,200 meters and 3,000-meter steeplechase. His prep-best times include 4:26.07 in the 1,600 meters, 4:19.03 in the mile, 9:17.9 in the 3,200 meters, 15:44.3 in the three miles (XC) and 14:52.0 in the 5K (XC). As a senior, Ford was third in the 3,000-meter steeplechase at the NYSPHSAA NY State Championships and was the runner-up at the state criss country championships. As a junior, he was a section champion in the 3,000-meter steeplechase and in cross country. In the classroom, Ford was a member of the high honor roll and was named the recipient of the NROTC Marine Corps Scholarship.
