Head coach Tim Corbin on Kozeal: “Cam comes us to with a mature offensive approach to hitting. It’s rare when you see young kids come into a program and own their process and intent…he does that. He is very serious and competitive with whatever he does. He can be found at the facility early or late. He’s a physical kid with very good defensive infield skills. I like where he is right now, and I believe he will impact the team, sooner than later.”

• Named SEC Freshman of the Week (March 4) after leading all of NCAA DI with 14 hits on the week
• Homered at Georgia (May 4) to tie the game after Dores trailed by four
• Named to Astros Foundation Classic All-Tournament Team (March 4)
• Drove in three runs on a 4-for-5 day, including a home run, vs. Texas (March 3) at Minute Maid Park
• Hit first collegiate home run vs. Indiana State (Feb. 27), going 4-for-5 with five RBI and two runs scored
• Hit a walk-off RBI single in ninth inning vs. Gonzaga (Feb. 24)
• Singled in first collegiate at-bat on Opening Day vs. FAU (Feb. 16)
