Vandy’s Regional Success
The NCAA instituted regional play in 2022, and the Commodores have won back-to-back titles, both at the Lansing Regional.  As a quick refresher, Vanderbilt needed the best of seven tiebreaker to stop a feisty Youngstown State team last year in the championship final. Vandy had beaten the Penguins on the first day but a red-hot Youngstown swept the mega-match points Saturday to force the tiebreaker, which the Dores won, 4-0.

Michigan is the Goal
There are four regionals in action and the winning team from each regional advances to the NCAA Championship next week at the Thunderbowl Lanes in Allen Park, Michigan, a Detroit suburb. The title match will be televised on ESPNU live at 8 p.m. CT.
